Cherish Love Gala 2026

Our annual Cherish Love Gala celebrates our organization, trainees with developmental disabilities, donors, and supporters. Guests will enjoy an evening filled with delicious food, raffles, and performances on Sunday, November 1, 2026 at Crystal Fountain Event Venue in Markham.

This year’s theme is “Love · Hope · Home”, and all proceeds will go towards funding our residential project: Cherish Enriched Living. Our housing solution aims to address the long waitlist for ministry subvented residential services. This enriching, culture-sensitive home with supervisory staff will allow trainees to gain independence. This is our second year fundraising for this project.

We welcome the opportunity to collaborate with organizations and offer a range of sponsorship opportunities to showcase our partners to approximately 500 gala attendees. If you’re interested in becoming a sponsor or exploring partnership opportunities, please email us at: info@cherishis.org. To make a donation and learn more about the gala, visit our fundraising website!

One Live Toronto Concert

On August 28, 2026, renowned Hong Kong singer, Andrew Cheung (張崇基), held his first solo concert, One Live, at 12Fifty Event Centre in Scarborough.

He is best known as one half of the celebrated vocal duo Cheung & Cheung and has enjoyed a long and distinguished music career. One Live marked his first time performing a full-length solo concert. Andrew shared his musical journey through timeless classics, personal stories, and fresh musical arrangements. Our trainees also had a great time joining Andrew on stage during his “O Sole Mio” performance.

Cherish Integrated Services was honoured to be this special charity concert’s beneficiary. By the end of the night, $13,500 was raised for our organization.

Thank you for your generosity!

VTES Centre & Possible Cafe Grand Opening

200+ guests attended the Grand Opening of our Vocational Training & Employment Services (VTES) Centre and Possible Cafe on June 26, 2026 to celebrate CHIS’ new milestone. After more than three years of fundraising and training, we are excited to see that the new centre is ready for operation. Cherish is determined to build an inclusive community in Markham with this new centre and program.

On the day of event, the ceremony began with remarks from organization and community leaders, followed by a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Guests then enjoyed a buffet lunch before taking guided tours of our centre. We served a variety of food and snacks prepared by our trainees that demonstrated their talents and hard work in the past months. We also had a photobooth and charity sales booth that livened the atmosphere for CHIS leaders, politicians, community members, guests.
