Volunteer Experience:
Volunteers play a vital role in the success of Cherish! We value individuals with diverse expertise and backgrounds who are willing to contribute to our cause. Your contribution as a volunteer will make a meaningful impact on the lives of those with intellectual disabilities. Currently, we are seeking volunteers in the following areas:
- Program Assistants: Support our Adult Day Living Enrichment Programs, Saturday Social Groups, and Summer/Holiday Camps for children and youth.
- Escorting Drivers: Assist in escorting trainees to and from the centre for their training sessions.
- HandyMan: Provide support with maintenance needs and upkeep of our centre facilities.
- Event Volunteers: Help organize fundraising or outreach events, ensuring their smooth operation.
- IT Technician: Offer technical support for computer programs and repairs.
- General Office Clerk: Aid in administrative tasks and support our office operations.
- Grant Writer: Assist in the development of compelling proposals.
- Marketing & Promotion Assistant: Support in promoting our centre services and events.
- Service Consultations: Provide expertise in Speech & Language Programs, Occupational/Physiological Programs, and other related areas.

Student Placements:
We warmly invite students from a wide range of fields to gain valuable experience and receive mentorship from our experienced staff. We gladly accept students from programs such as Social Work/Social Service, Child and Youth Care, Nursing, Personal Support Worker, and various other disciplines.
